In the Forbiddedn Forest, one of the trees appears to be moving.
This, of course, is only a trick of the early morning fog because where you thought you saw a walking oak tree there is only Jack Green.
It's also a trick of the fog that he appears to be naked.
He steps out of the Forbidden Forest in jeans and workboots and button-down cotton shirt (green, of course, it sets off his eyes and he has moments of vanity), looking very normal. Which is to say, happy.
He surveys the remains of the party, hands on his hips. The tables, the ashes of the bonfire, the refuse from the feast. He walks to the central table where the horn of plenty sits, empty. He lays a hand on it and asks everything to return to the horn.
In a blink of an eye, less than that, the ashes and leftovers and the dance floor and everything is gone. Simply gone. The horn may appear to be bulging at the seams a bit--but again, trick of the fog.
There is only Jack and the horn, which he tucks in his satchel. It will, he decides, look excellent on Krishna's mantlepiece.
